Where does time go? Reagan was 5 months old on Thursday. She is still our sweet, little peanut. We started rice cereal. Slowly, she is getting better at eating that stuff. I offered some to Brylie. She tasted it. Let's just say she knows not to ever taste it again. Reagan seems to enjoy chewing on her cup. She takes in some water but spits most back out.

What is she up to at 5 months old? Reagan is really interested in sitting up more. She still loves to stand. Her favorite toys seem to be the orange monkey, the green frog below, Sophie the giraffe, and of course Brylie. Her nighttime sleep has changed. She seems to wake up somewhere between 4-6 to sort of eat. I am thinking she is ready to drop that one. Her naps are inconsistent in length. She takes 3 naps a day. She also goes down for a nap so easily. It is so different than Brylie. We had to rock Brylie until she was basically asleep. Reagan does just fine with a fresh diaper, a cuddle, her blanket, and the soother. She sucks on her thumb while rubbing the blanket on her cheek and off to sleep she goes.

Reagan definitely offers lots of smiles now. She loves the song "Celebrate." She is ticklish under her arms and down the sides of her ribs. Thank the good Lord that she is doing much better in the car. Probably one of my favorite things to happen this month is her blocked tear duct is no longer blocked! One morning she woke up, and it was fine. I am so relieved. She almost looks different without that watery, goopy eye. That eases my nerves because I was dreading a possible surgery down the road.

Reagan is starting to make bird-like, pterodactyl sounds. Brylie made some similar ones. We get mixed responses to if the girls look alike. Some say for sure; some say not at all. Some say she looks like her daddy; some say just like mommy. I am not quite sure myself :) All we know is that she is a happy, healthy, beautiful little girl.
